How to Make Your Air Registers Sparkle like a Cullen

Posted by Corey Bullock on March 29, 2016 in  The Remodel
Sometimes life gets busy, works gets crazy, and a new cat shows up at your door step. Seriously, here's a picture of Simon, our new friend: We think he's a new kitten to one of our neighbors (he seems well fed), though we haven't figured out which neighbor yet. He's shy, but friendly, and he seems to enjoy Piper's company when she's outside. That's all we know about Simon at the moment, so I'll keep you posted. Now, on to the remodel. Kitchen Pendant Lights

Once upon a time, there was a young adult named Goldilocks. She went for a walk in Wilmington, and soon she came upon a house for sale. She knocked, but since there was no answer, she called her trusted real estate professional to schedule a time to see the home. Upon entering the home, Goldilocks immediately fell in love with the recently remodeled kitchen, and noticed a gorgeous mason jar soap dispenser next to the kitchen sink. "It's!" she exclaimed. "It's like old meets new, all ... read more

Posted by Corey Bullock on January 29, 2016 in  The Remodel
We've been busy working on the house, though unfortunately not much of it has been in the kitchen. We (ahem, Laura...) decided that she was ready to use the new living room space for more than practicing Body Flow routines and selling LuLaRoe Clothing, so we shifted our attention to making that a functional, cozy space. We began by painting all the trim a stark white to contrast the light gray walls:  Not everyone tapes off the trim when they paint, but I tend to get impatient when painting very slowly t... read more
